  1. Staind may have not broken any new ground with this cd. But they made a classic metal album all the same. When this came out nu metal was all the rage and Limp Bizkit and Korn ruled the charts. While that fad has fallen out of style like disco, this cd still stands the test of time/5().

  5. This is a promo of Dysfunction before the album was released, the album name was misspelled as "Disfunction". This release also has 10 tracks instead of the 9 that were featured on the regular release. The unreleased tack is called "Bring the Noise". Catalog # reads p on release/5(2).

It's just that the band's debut album, Dysfunction, is a product of the times. Staind shows a lot of promise on Dysfunction, but you'd forgive a casual observer for thinking that it's an average alt-metal record, because in many ways it is.
